In the third installment of my semi-autobiographical novel based on teaching at a Saudi Arabian university, our narrator is shown around the underwhelming teaching facilities of his new job. He also meets several colleagues, consisting of burnt out wrecks, unhinged schemers and beligerent alcoholics. While his bureaucratic trials continue, and his campus apartment stinks of raw sewage, it isn’t long before the appalled new recruit starts to pine for a ride to the airport and a one-way ticket to salvation!
